Jazz Guitar (for people who know cowboy chords)
Tuesdays, March 4th, 11th, April 18th and 25th • 7:00pm-8:00pm (EST)
This course is for anyone who knows the basics of guitar and would like to spice up their chordal knowledge with jazz chord shapes that can be played up and down the neck! If you feel stuck in your root position cowboy chords and you’d like to break out of your rut, this course is for you!
We will cover…
3-finger voicings that add extensions (the sparkley extra notes)
4-finger voicings that add an even fuller sound
Movable chords that can be played anywhere on the neck
Chord progressions like the ii-V7-I
Simple jazz strumming patterns
The course will run online via Zoom.
The course is sliding scale $140-$240 for attendees or access to the class recordings!
